Getting Started in the Backcountry
If you’ve been curious about what it’s actually like beyond the resort and to be able to explore winter on your own terms, this one’s for you. We’re partnering with Patagonia at Northstar to host a free community-focused backcountry conversation for anyone who’s been thinking about taking that next step.
Our lead guide Ryan Tilley will walk through the essentials of getting into the backcountry: how to move through terrain, find good snow, avoid crowds, and stay safe. Think of it as a friendly intro to a whole new side of winter.
Doors Open: 7:00pm
Event Begins: 7:30pm
