Ecuador Volcano Climbing Expedition
Ecuador is a rare gem for mountaineers. This is where high-altitude peaks meet unmatched accessibility. We have crafted what we believe is the most comprehensive and rewarding climbing program in the country. Our itinerary strikes the perfect balance between acclimatization, cultural immersion, and high-end accommodations, all while summiting Ecuador’s three most iconic volcanoes: Cotopaxi (19,347 ft), Cayambe (18,993 ft), and Chimborazo (20,701 ft).
Each climb in this trilogy offers something truly special. Cayambe is the coldest and highest point on the Equator—the only place on earth where both latitude and temperature hit zero. Cotopaxi stands as the tallest active volcano in the world and remains Ecuador’s most climbed peak. Then there’s Chimborazo, the giant of the Andes, whose summit is the farthest point from Earth’s core.
What sets our program apart is our commitment to safety, success, and personal attention. We maintain a low climber-to-guide ratio, ensuring personalized guidance and higher summit success. Our carefully designed itinerary allows for gradual acclimatization, giving climbers the best chance to adapt to altitude and perform at their best.
Beyond the mountains, the journey includes time in Quito to explore the capital’s rich culture and vibrant nightlife. Resting in comfort between climbs and experiencing Ecuadorian hospitality adds a unique layer of enjoyment to this already unforgettable expedition.
